Shasta Nelson, M.Div., a friendship expert, is a leading voice on creating healthy relationships in her efforts to eradicate the growing loneliness in our world. Her spirited and soulful voice for meaningful connections can be found in her books Frientimacy: How to Deepen Friendships for Lifelong Health and Happiness and Friendships Don’t Just Happen! The Guide to Creating a Meaningful Circle of GirlFriends. She is Founder of GirlFriendCircles.com, her tribe of women committed to creating more friendship in this world and teaches monthly friendship skill building classes at The Friendship University. In addition to speaking across the country, she is also a frequent contributor to the media appearing on TV shows such as Katie Couric and The Today Show, and in countless magazines and newspapers including The New York TimesGood HousekeepingHealth, and Forbes.

Shasta Nelson is a friendship expert who writes, speaks, and gives media interviews to teach all of us how to create healthier and more fulfilling relationships in our lives. She is currently researching and writing her third book The Business of Friendship about our workplace friendships, but her first two books are both available today and she’s more than happy to sign them for you {give location/details}.  Her first book Friendships Don’t Just Happen is about how to make new friends as an adult, and her most recent one is titled Frientimacy: How to Deepen Friendships for Lifelong Health and Happiness and teaches us how to strengthen and repair the friendships that matter most. As one of the leading voices on how we can reverse the trend of our increasing loneliness, she’s also a frequent spokesperson in the media being interviewed on TV shows such as Katie Couric and The Today Show, featured in countless national magazines like Good Housekeeping, Real Simple, and Health, and interviewed for prominent newspapers like the New York Times, Washington Post, and L.A. Times.
